Reaction.....!!

At the end of this semester I suppose to give my reaction about this subject LSEC 101. It was one of the most important subjects, because it gives me skills to write a report and do a presentation and this I needed in all other subject. Mr. John Vrhovnik, help me a lot to improve my skills and he make the classes interesting.

I am was happy to study with teacher John and improve my communication English skills and one of most important skills I learnt from them is that how to prepare and organize a meeting. Six months ago, I have no idea about preparing meeting, when I had a meeting I was coming without any paper, but now I learned that the good meeting should have agenda and planning. Another important thing that outcome, at the end of the meeting we should have a solutions or benefits or whatever it called outcomes. I also had learned how to present, the presentation have many skills we should knew it, like attitude, body language, voice, eyes contact, hands motion and your English. This all help you to do a good presentation in the future. And hopefully use these skills in my next meetings and of course always be on the time. I had really challenges in this semester and the most challenge thing was doing first meeting. It was so hard for me, because it was first time to discus something in public.

In conclusion, it’s my pleasure to work with a great man and I will work by his notes. I also will try to improve my English in the future and always learn from the mistakes. LSEC N101 subject teach me a lot and I get better day after day. For sure I will use it in the future in my career.

Final presentation (Artic Melting):

Hamdan : Final presentation..

Our group consisted of myself, Khalid Hassan, Mohammed Humid and Fahad. We gave a presentation about Arctic Melting in class T005 at 3:10 pm. Khalid started the presentation by introducing us and describing the problem generally as an introduction. After him was my turn, then Fahad and at the end, Mohammed.

Mohammed’s part was the conclusion. He was supposed to repeat the main points and gave solutions to each problem. Also he had to answer questions. Mohammed showed that he had improved from the last presentation and he corrected some of his mistakes. From the beginning, he was confidant and used your hands very well. Mohammed’s problem was that he didn’t have enough information, for that he end the conclusion with too much ammmmm’s and aaaaaaah’s.!!! The good point was that Mohammed knew about that and he was unhappy for that, but wished to improve.

In conclusion, the important things that we improved from last time by correct our mistakes. In my opinion, Mohammed should practice more and more to fix his mistakes and to become as excellent presenter in future.

Semi-Formal Presentation Summary

Hamdan--Semi-Formal Presentation Summary

On April 28, I attended a presentation by my classmates, Mohammed AlRumathy, Khalid Hassan and Fahad ALKindi. It took place in classroom Too8 at 4:10. I am going to talk about Mohammed and his presentation.

Everyone should take 3 to 5 mins in front our teacher and some students talked about his part. Our presentation was comparing between I phone 4G and Galaxy S, and Mohammed’s part was to talk about Galaxy. In the beginning, he was nervous because it was the first time for him to do a presentation, and his words weren’t clear, after a few seconds he became natural and his voice became clearer. Mohammed, didn’t use his hands in right way, also he didn’t move from his place. About eyes contact, he tried but it was difficult to do the first time, his eyes were most of the time looking at the teacher. He always smiled even when he under stress, this gave Mohammed some advantages to give a nice presentation. The information what Mohammed said it was correct and clear about Galaxy S.

In conclusion, Mohammed did very well in the first presentation and I believe that Mohammed has more than this to share but with some practice for sure he will be better in the future.

Minute ...!!

Our meeting starts on Date 13 March 2011. We had started at 2:20 afternoon, and it ended at 2:40 afternoon. In ADMC – Room W104. Our topic was College gender integration. Our meeting participants was Fahad AlKendi the leader, Khalid ALMarzouqi the note taker, Hamdan Albraiki and Mohammed ALRumaithi are members.

We talked about if integration agenda is a good idea for the college or not and how will it affect the student life. Secondly, we discussed how we could prepare student for that, and what the steps are. In additional, we talked about the student families’ reaction about integration. Finally, we came up with few solutions to make the integration something easier and acceptable.

We had get out in few solutions such as, put a lot of cameras to watch and cover the college to make the college a safe place for both gender. The integration gender is a good thing for HCT. It encourages the student to work harder with Competition between boys and girls. We could we prepare the student to accept gender integration and reduce the disadvantages of it. We will take the recommendation to student council and Mohammed will follow.

My part in the meeting as a member ..!!

I was a member of our meeting group and my job was to discuss and give points. With the help of my meeting team we have done good job.

In the begining, I felt nervous, because it was first meeting I had done it. Our group was successful because we had following our technique and the audiences were able to listen and make a good eye contact as view sides in class. My evaluate was interesting as member of the meeting because I have discussed most  of theproblem points and I was able to cover my spot as well, it was hard so I have to make a solution. Our group was very helpful and I have received a good feedback from them, as if it was about the meeting or about me. The team leader was very helpful he did discuses every point and assesses us all. All the members were adding points to make the meeting as good as possible and the note taker write all the points.

In general, i think I have done my part and cover my spot as a discussion member with good evaluating. I hope that I could benefit  this problem by my feedback.

Difficult speaking in public ..!!

Nowadays, people dealing in business by a presentation and you want one that he could take without mistakes and stress. Making a presentation is most important part that you explain for the people in all companies.

There is several problems face some people while making the presentation and it affect on marks. The main idea is shying, when they stand in front of attendances, because they fear to make mistakes.  The other reason is that they freezing and lost the keyword, because they haven’t enough vocabulary. In addition, I have same problem with vocabulary that stop me in the middle of the story.

In conclusion, making a presentation is important part in the business job. My advice for anyone cannot control himself while making a presentation, to training more and more until he become more comfortable and ready to take in public.

Mr. Ben ....!!

Mr. Ben wakes up from his bed due to his alarms clock ring. As usually on every morning, he shaves his face, get washed and goes to his kitchen to read his stacked notes. His note for today says that he has an appointment with his dentistry and not much time he have.

 He rushed into his car and dressed while he driving. Mr. Ben poured water on a boy. Right on time, Mr. Ben arrived and waited the dentist office. While he was waiting, he played with the dentist chair, until the dentist entered. The dentist was about to fix Mr. Ben teeth, but Mr. Ben stabbed the dentist with a syringe, was playing with. The dentist fell down. Mr. Ben felt frightened and tried to wake him up over and over again. After award, he decided to fix his own teeth, which he did. At the end, the dentist woke up, watching Mr. Ben happily walking out of his office.

In conclusion, Mr. Bean was a crazy man and he did not set quietly. The patient should
respect his doctor.

Oilfield to Petrol Station ....!!

The petrol is one of the important things in this life. But there are many people did not have any idea about how thy refine petrol from the oil. It’s usually cost a lot of money but is necessary to make a lot of things.   

First of all, the oil is located. Second, the oil is pumped through a pipeline to bring it out. Third, the oil is stored in large tanks. Fourth, the oil is refined different products in clouding petrol. Then, the petrol is stored in large tanks. Next, the petrol is transported to petrol stations by trucks. After that, the petrol is stored in underground tanks. Finally, the petrol is pumped in to car tanks to walk.

To sum up, my country has so many tanks of petrol. But the problem is petrol are polluted our earth. We should find a solution to reduce using a gas.

orange juice ...!!

Orange juice is healthy. It provides vitamins for us. Also it protects us from disease. The fruit makes an involved journey to become juice. A few steps make a healthy juice.

First, fruit is unloading by a truck. Second, fruit is graded to see if it’s good or bad. Then, good fruit is washed by washer.  Next, fruits are passes through the sizer. After that, fruit juices are extracted by machine. Furthermore, animal are feed be wasted. Additionally, juice is evaporated. Then, juice is concentrated after all this steps. After that, all the juice is storage the refrigerated. Next, juices are canned by machine. Furthermore, all juices are shipped to other countries. Finally, juice is added to concentrate by water and then fill out to concentrate.

In conclusion, now we recognize fruit becomes healthy juice. You buy orange juice to keep you healthy. So it is a good choice for a healthy lifestyle.

Road Accident .....!!!

    Two months ago, I received a call from my friend. He told me that he would marry in Dubai and I should attend. While me driving my car, my phone rang and everything went wrong.

            When I heard bad news by phone I lost my control, and I were lonely. However, after seconds from hearing that bad news I crashed other car. When I reversed my car from the side into the other side, there are a car driving slowly in this side and l didn’t have another solution to avoid this accident. As if that wasn’t everything, while I am getting out of my car, the motorcyclist ran into my car door and crashed me. Finally, to cap it all, I started to run into the motorcyclist to help him but the taxi knocked me down and I couldn’t do anything. I don’t know why this people not stop when they saw an accident road.

            In the end, my leg is broken and I lied in the hospital for weeks until I got fully cured and I promised myself to sell me car as soon as I got out of the hospital and don’t use phone while I driving.

The internet is most important in this life and the life with paper is gone. Also you can’t walk in the world with hundred papers. You can save all your papers in the website page “Blog”. You can make a blog by a few steps. 

Firstly, Google Account should be created for make a blog then go to the http://www.blogger.com/. Next, the orange arrow is clicked (" create your blog now "). After that, the Email address is put in the space also your password and your name in. Then, your blog title and blog address (URL) is written. Finally, your blog is checked by going to http//xxxxxx.blogspot.com or from http://www.blogger.com/.

In conclusion, I am sure that is easy by following this steps you will get a new blog and it will help you to finish you work from anywhere and anytime. So my advice is to make for you a blog and tell your friends.

make a coffee (passive voice).!!

Nowadays, many people like to start their morning with a cup of coffee. But some of them feel very hard to make a nice coffee by their hand. Before I felt same feeling, but after my friend advice I can make for you a best coffee. I will help you by showing the steps.

First of all, the coffee beans are picked from trees usually by hand. Second, the outer skin is removed from the beans. Then the bean is washed to remove dirty things. You have to make sure that the clean water is used. After that, the beans are roasted in a very hot oven. Moreover, the coffee is soaked by the worker in warm water to make sure the chaff is removed. Additionally, the mixture is drained. Next, the mixture and freeze are drained it and then they crush the mixture. Finally, the vacuum and store are dried in an airtight container.

In conclusion, Coffee is something important in the morning before working. My advice to learn how to make a coffee to help your brain in the morning.

Across the world, some people interesting watching movies. Also some of them want to create movies but some of them had problem and feel it so hard. However, you need a few steps to create a moviemaker.

First of all, the windows moviemaker is downloaded at www.Microsoft.com. Second, the file on the top left is clicked “important into collections” and the videos or picture is chosen for your video. Then, your files are imported into the collection. After that, your videos are edited. Next, the transition is chosen to add between slides or as video affects to the video you are able. Finally, the music is added and waits until you watch your video.

Microsoft has made this product to take movie maker easier to use. Once you use it, you’ll find it very easy. I’m sure if you follow the steps after downloading the program.  you will enjoy using movie to document our family occasion.

compare ENGLISH N125 and LSEC 100 ..!!

Across the world, learning English is important thing. However, I learn English in my college but in two ways. First subject is the English N125 and the second is LSEC 100. Now, I’ll compare and contrast between this two subjects.

There are three similarities between LSEC 100 and Eng N125. One of the most important is they both teach me English. As we now we use English in most places to talk with other people. Another obvious similarity is that using website  in both subject. In LSEC 100 and Eng N125 the Laptop is important because we use internet in the class. The last similarities  between this two course is that they put marks. In the last chapter we look for the marks to pass in the course.

Although there are three similarities between them, there are also three different between this two subject. One of the most important is that type of the subject. In Eng N100 they teach me ILETS. In other hand, the LSEC 100 teach me who to research. Next noticeable difference is that final exam. In Eng N125 we do final exam but in LSEC 100 we didn’t take. The final difference is that place. LSEC 100 most time in the Library, however Eng N125 in the classroom.

Overall, the difference outweigh the similarities. In my opinion Eng N125 as important as LSEC 100.

Compare the Bugatti Veyron and Porsche 911 Turbo

Nowadays, most people use cars and there are many differences in the car that you can choose. A car is an important thing in most of lifes. Now, I’ll compare and contrast between the Porsche 911 Turbo and Buggatti Veyron.

There are three similarities between Porsche 911 Turbo and Buggatti Veyron. One of the most important similarities  is that both of them are sport car. Both cars are in top 10 sport cars in the world (Adams, etal,2006). Another obvious similarity is that they are made ni same country. Both of them are made by Germany companies. The last similarity between them is these cars have same number seats. Buggatti and Porsche both  are have two seats only.

 Although there are three similarities between Porsche and Buggatti, there are also three differences. One of the most important is the price. The Buggatti costs $1,980,000 (Bovingdon, 2010), but the Porsche which is costs $140,000 (Renolds, 2007). The next noticeable difference is the  top speed.Which is 253 mph for Buggatti at top speed (Adams, Brown and Lienert, 2006). However, the top speed ofPorsche is less than Buggatti, its around 192 mph (Adams, etal,2006). The final difference is the horse power. The Buggatti has horse huge power around 1,001 hp (Adams, etal,2006) while the Porsche has around 480 hp (Renolds, 2007).

Overall, the differences outweigh the similarities. In my opinion you should save your money by buying a Porsche 911 Turbo. We can see most of people prefer Porsche than Buggatti because most of them can buy it.

Compare and contrast between paper and e-portfolio.

          Nowadays, so many people had work and after this all improvement we can choose which better and easy. Now, I’ll write about two things and I’ll compare and contrast between them.

      

           There are three similarities between paper and e-portfolio. One of the most important is they both they can write on them. They can write some notes in the paper and also in e-portfolio. Another obvious similarity is that they can save information in both. They can make a file and put his important things in both of them. The last similarity between them is that everyone can read both of them. They can read paper and e-portfolio.

          Although there are three similarities between them, also there are three differences. One of the most important is that time. They can send e-portfolio in anytime but they can’t send paper anytime. Next noticeable difference is the comfortable. In e-portfolio they feel easy to write and erase everything however paper it’s hard to write and erase. The final difference is that clean. with e-portfolio they can be clean while with paper they can’t.

Overall, the differences outweigh the similarities. In my opinion work with e-portfolio it’s more comfortable and easy.

How to make a coffee ..!!

   

               

Nowadays, many people like to start their morning with a cup of coffee. But some of them feel very hard to make a nice coffee by their hand. Before I felt same feeling, but after my friend advice I can make for you a best coffee. I will help you by showing the steps.

First of all, pick the coffee beans from trees usually by hand. Second, remove the outer skin from the beans. Then wash the beans to remove dirty things. You have to make sure that you use clean water. After that, dry the beans. Next, roast the beans in a very hot oven. Moreover, soak the coffee in warm water sure is the chaff is removed. Additionally, drain the mixture. Next, freeze and then crush the mixture. Finally, dry in a vacuum and store in an airtight container.
